This policy explains what information Eat This, Not Chaos collects, why, and how it's kept. If anything here is unclear, reach out any time at daniellesphire@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, used to sign you in and to match your purchase to your account.
- Kid profile details you enter: a name or nickname, age, allergies, foods they dislike, favorite flavors, and dietary preferences. This is used only to match recipes for your family, nothing else.
- Your saved favorites, shopping lists, and meal plans, so they're there the next time you sign in.
- Purchase information from our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy: we receive confirmation that a purchase was made and the email used, so we can grant access. We never see or store your card details, Lemon Squeezy handles that directly.
A note on children's information
Eat This, Not Chaos is a tool for parents and caregivers. Any information about a child (name, allergies, preferences) is entered by an adult account holder, about their own child, for the purpose of getting matched recipes. Children do not create accounts, sign in, or interact with this service directly. If you have questions about a child's data or want it removed, contact us at the email above and we'll take care of it.
How your information is stored
Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication), a widely used cloud infrastructure provider. Access to your account data is restricted to your own signed-in session.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information to third parties.
- We don't use your kids' information for advertising.
- We don't share your data beyond what's needed to run the service (Firebase for storage, Lemon Squeezy for payment processing).
Cookies and local storage
The app uses your browser's local storage to remember small conveniences, like keeping you signed in between visits. This stays on your device and isn't used for tracking or advertising.
Your choices
You can edit or delete any kid profile yourself from within the app at any time. To delete your account entirely or request a full copy of your data, email daniellesphire@gmail.com.

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
